State-of-the-art technology is being utilised in Newport City Centre to keep local businesses and the public safe.

 

M.R.S. Communications Ltd has partnered with Swansea BID (Business Improvement District) to invest in state-of-the-art technology to keep its members and the public safe in Swansea City Centre.

 

M.R.S. Communications client Cardiff Against Business Crime, FOR Cardiff (CABC) has been awarded the runner up prize at the ATCM 2019 Town and City Management Industry Awards. The organisation scooped the runner up prize for Best Safety, Security and Resilience scheme at the awards.

An M.R.S. Communications radio has recently been used to successfully support a vulnerable adult in St Austell, Cornwall.

On 8th August 2019, a retailer in St Austell requested assistance from the local BID to help a disoriented gentleman locate his parked car. Having described his car and where he thought it was parked, the BID manager used an M.R.S. radio to communicate with local radio users in an attempt to locate the vehicle.

M.R.S. Communications jointly with Wolverhampton BID has successfully delivered advanced radio training to radios users. The training took place on the 10th and 11th of July and was aimed primarily at established radio users who already understand the basics of using their radio system.

Winchester Business Crime Reduction Partnership and M.R.S. Communications are celebrating a year as partners, reflecting on growth in radio users after a successful deployment.

M.R.S. Communications is delighted to share that FOR Cardiff has secured a Purple Flag accreditation for the city of Cardiff.

The Purple Flag is awarded to towns and cities which manage their evening and night-time economy (ENTE) with incredibly high standards.

M.R.S. Communications are delighted to announce that their client, FOR Cardiff, has gained accreditation against the new open standards for Business Crime Reduction Partnerships (BCRP) for their Cardiff Against Business Crime (CABC) scheme. The CABC scheme is fourth in the UK to achieve this accreditation, and joint first in Wales alongside Newport.

The Harborne Village BID was awarded their Business Improvement District (BID) status in October 2017 and has since been focusing on continually improving communication in the Harborne area.
